Description Greenberg Traurig’s Tel Aviv Labor & Employment group is searching for a U.S. Labor & Employment attorney to advise and counsel Israel-based clients hiring employees located in the United States. Position Summary: The U.S. Labor & Employment attorney will provide support to the firm’s Tel Aviv-based U.S. Labor & Employment Department. Duties & Responsibilities: Introduce Israel-based companies to process of hiring and managing employees in U.S. Prepare employment policies, employment agreements, incentive plans, restrictive covenant agreements, independent contractor agreements, letters to employees regarding changes to terms of employment, employee handbooks, separation letters and waiver/release agreements Advise clients to ensure employment law compliance and manage litigation risk Assist clients with process of addressing employee work performance issues Provide guidance to clients regarding employee accommodations and leaves of absence Counsel clients regarding wage and hour practices Support clients through reductions-in-force and other corporate restructurings Conduct due diligence for purposes of M&A transactions Skills & Competencies: Strong academic credentials Excellent writing skills Meticulous attention to detail Professional and clear communication to clients Ability to work efficiently and effectively in both remote and in-person environment Adept at managing multiple matters simultaneously in organized manner and with minimal supervision Responsive in timely manner to shifting demands and urgent client matters Ability to work under pressure and meet definitive deadlines Qualifications & Prior Experience: Admitted to Bar of at least one U.S. state Minimum 2 years U.S. employment law counseling experience Computer proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook Greenberg Traurig is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
