Cozen O’Connor seeks a department attorney for its Subrogation & Recovery Department in the Miami, Atlanta, or Charlotte office. Come work at an AmLaw 100 firm  in a 9-5 role without the pressure of billable hours! Responsibilities will include evaluating and handling large property claims including coordinating the investigation, retention and management of experts, identifying potential theories of liability, and client reporting.  The role is primarily to triage large losses, closing those that are nonviable with client approval, and identifying claims with an appropriate factual and legal basis for pursuit of recovery.  The attorney will also be responsible for litigating subrogation claims.  Ideal candidates will have a minimum of four years of experience handling insurance claims, construction claims, or commercial litigation.  Excellent interpersonal, research and writing skills, and a license in good standing in the resident state required.   South Carolina license a plus. We are not working with search firms to fill this position.
