Job Description We are seeking a self-starter with excellent communication skills who, effectively collaborates and supports their clients in a constantly changing landscape of Canadian business immigration. Associate/Lawyer responsibility include: Supporting clients in immigration program management and compliance. Delegating, overseeing and supporting the work of analyst’s, who assist in file preparation, billing and file tracking. Assessing eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status in Canada Working with clients to prepare applications for submission for non-immigrant and immigrant status for foreign national employees. Research issues address them proactively and formulate solutions. Requirements for the Associate/Lawyer Canadian bar lawyer with a minimum of 3 years’ experience and knowledge of Canadian immigration law Proven ability to build strong working relationships with clients and staff Responsible for managing a broad caseload in a fast-paced environment. Ability to identify issues, analyze facts and determine appropriate case strategy. Effectively utilize on-line research tools and comfortable working with client management systems. Displays professionalism, quality service and a “positive” can do attitude and contribute to the Firm’s overall initiatives.
