Global Projects Associate

We are seeking an associate with 4 to 6 years of experience working on major projects and transactions, preferably in the energy and infrastructure space, to join our Houston, Austin, Dallas, New York, or D.C. offices. Specifically, the ideal candidate would have experience in energy transition practices (renewables, H2, CCS), LNG, or electric power sectors and have been a key member of a team on major transactions and project development matters. The ideal candidate would have experience managing a team working closely with a partner or supervising junior associates, possess strong drafting skills and contract analysis capabilities, have the ability to analyze and synthesize new information, and have an interest in the energy industry and our clients’ businesses. An associate will thrive in this position if they are comfortable operating as part of a team, enjoy taking ownership and responsibility for their work, seek feedback and training, have great communication and organizational skills, and are self-motivated to provide excellent substantive work and client service. Location: Position is open to the offices listed above. Please note your preferred office location in your application. For positions based in the NYC office of Baker Botts L.L.P., the salary range is $310,000 to $390,000.
