The Minnesota office of Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons, LLP is looking for an associate attorney with 2 to 5 years of litigation experience to join the firm. Candidates should have a working knowledge of state and federal civil procedure, and excellent advocacy and writing skills. Litigation experience, including taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, and attending mediations is preferred and previous labor and employment experience is strongly preferred. Valid Minnesota BAR license required. The attorneys in this position will handle the day-to-day aspects of Thompson Coe’s litigation cases including client meetings, reporting and investigation, and taking and attending depositions, hearings, mediations and arbitrations and/or trials. Depending on the size and exposure of the case, the candidate will independently handle the case or work closely with a partner.
