Polsinelli is seeking mid-level patent agents to join our Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Patent Prosecution Practice Group. This position is open to all our firm offices, with a preference for Atlanta, Washington, DC, Houston, Denver, Kansas City or Salt Lake City. Interested candidates must possess a high level of academic achievement, solid law firm, engineering or industry experience and superb writing and communication skills. Ideal candidates will have 4+ years of relevant patent preparation and prosecution experience and a degree in electrical engineering, computer science or physics. Preferred experience in either: i. patent prosecution in either electrical engineering or software-related technologies; and/or ii. data science/ AI, or networking technologies, especially network security is encouraged; and/or iii. machine learning/artificial intelligence (in addition to data science) and hardware security. Admission to the USPTO required. Please submit a cover letter, resume, undergraduate transcript (and graduate when applicable) and writing sample (preferred patent application). Compensation: Salary will range between $180,000 - $200,000, depending on experience. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance.
