New York Office - Opportunistic Commercial and Restructuring Litigation Associate

Candidate must have two to six years of commercial litigation experience, including experience in restructuring litigation. Candidate must have experience handling litigation in federal district and bankruptcy courts, as well as state courts, including NY and Delaware. Candidate must have experience with all aspects of commercial and restructuring litigation, including drafting and responding to complaints, discovery, motion practice, trials and appeals, and have strong research and writing skills. Stellar academic credentials and comparable law firm experience required. Our restructuring litigation practice handles complex restructurings, including bankruptcy matters and other situations involving stressed and distressed companies. Our litigators work seamlessly with our financial restructuring and special situations practices to advise clients in connection with a broad range of litigation scenarios. We work on behalf of both debtors and creditors, including official creditors’ committees, ad hoc committees and individual creditors, such as investment funds and institutional investors. All employees are required to comply with the firm’s employment policies. The base salary range for this position in New York City is $225,000 to $415,000.
