Litigation Associate, Chicago

Porter Wright has an opportunity for a Litigation Associate in the Chicago, Illinois office.

Qualifications include:

• Three to four years of experience in complex commercial litigation, product liability or personal injury litigation
• Strong research and writing skills
• Trial experience is a bonus but not required
• Must be admitted to the practice of law in the state of Illinois

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated the following attributes:

• Willingness and ability to collaborate and work on teams
• Experience to independently draft pleadings, motion papers, discovery requests, settlement agreements and other standard documents
• Strong work ethic and desire to grow and learn as a valued member of litigation team
• Ability to develop creative solutions to solve complex problems
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
• Ability to engage in internal and external relationship building.
