Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, P.C. currently has an opening for a mid-level associate attorney to join the ERISA/Employee Benefits Practice Group based out of our St. Louis office. Missouri or Illinois law license will be required. Remote and flexible work arrangements will be considered. Qualified Applicants Will Have: 4+ years of experience in handling ERISA, employee benefit and executive compensation matters. Broad understanding of ERISA, tax, and related laws pertaining to employee benefit plans. Experience counseling clients on ERISA and tax implications of employment agreements, retirement plans, welfare plans, and non-qualified deferred compensation arrangements. Experience with ESOP transactions and advising existing ESOPs strongly preferred. Exceptional legal writing and research skills. Excellent analytical/problem solving skills and attention to detail.
