Type of Experience: King & Spalding seeks two mid-level associates for the firm's Global Transactions practice group in Singapore. Qualified candidates will have superior academic credentials and a minimum of two years' large law firm experience in energy and corporate transactions. Preferred candidates will have experience with energy projects, with a particular emphasis on power projects, midstream gas, liquefied natural gas (LNG), refining and petrochemical project development. Candidates should also have experience with project financing and general corporate work, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and cross-border transactions. The work will involve drafting and negotiating project agreements, commercial supply and offtake agreements and advising clients in the structuring, development, and financing of energy projects.
