This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team that provides advice and support on matters related to the firm, Cerberus’ portfolio companies, and investment activities. </div> <div></div> <div> As a Compliance Associate/Sr. Associate, you will manage and enhance various fund compliance processes throughout the fund life cycle. </div> <div></div> <div> Responsibilities/Deliverables: </div> <div></div> <div> Marketing and IR-Related </div> <ul> <li> Work with marketing and investor relations departments to ensure compliance of securities laws in connection with the launch and closing of private investment funds</li> <li> Create policies and procedures for marketing and offering of private funds</li> <li> Work with Sales Ops team in the development and review of marketing materials, RFPs, and DDQs in compliance with applicable securities laws</li> <li> Assist Sales Ops team with operational due diligence meetings</li> <li> Ensure compliance with foreign offering rules and educate marketing personnel on the application of such rules</li> <li> Coordinate planning of advisory board meetings with Sales Ops team and assist in the preparation of materials</li> </ul> <div></div> <div> Ongoing Fund Operations </div> <ul> <li> Work with compliance, operations and senior fund counsel to develop policies and procedures required by the Advisors Act in connection with various operations of Cerberus fund management platform</li> <li> Track and manage side letter obligations and work with operations to enhance Cerberus’ in-house side letter tracking management system</li> <li> Work with attorneys drafting fund documents and operations to develop policies and procedures to manage fund and investor investment restrictions</li> </ul> <div></div> <div> Regulatory Filings </div> <ul> <li> Work with outside counsel to ensure regular fund filings are being maintained (e.g., Form D)</li> <li> Work with internal attorneys and outside counsel to manage updates to Form ADV</li> </ul> <div></div> <div> Key Requirements: </div> <ul> <li> 2-5 years’ experience within an investment management firm or law firm supporting private funds</li> <li> Experience working with private equity, hedge fund, and real estate investment private funds</li> <li> Strong knowledge of investment fund compliance and regulatory landscape</li> <li> Able to manage multiple tasks/projects with competing deadlines</li> <li> Highly organized and resourceful team player with immaculate attention to detail</li> <li> Exceptional research, analytical, communication and writing skills</li> <li> B.A. or B.S. with an excellent academic record</li> <li> J.D. preferred but not required</li> </ul> <div></div> <div> The base salary for this position is expected to be between $100,000.00 and $150,000.00. The base salary offered to the chosen candidate will be commensurate with a candidate’s relevant experience and other qualifications for the position, as determined by the Company in its sole discretion. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is often a meaningful portion of the compensation package, and a robust benefits package. </div> </div> <div></div></div>
