They will serve as the primary legal partner to Ontra's Sales, Account Management, Revenue Operations, and Finance teams, as well as assist in strategic initiatives involving business expansion and partnerships.</p> <p> If you want to be hands-on in building scalable solutions for a growing global business, we'd love to get to know you!</p> <p><b> What you'll do</b></p> <ul> <li><b>Own and execute</b> on all aspects of the customer agreement lifecycle, including playbook updates, template drafting, and the review and negotiation of all customer and channel partnership agreements and related documents</li> <li><b>Draft, review and negotiate</b> a wide variety of commercial agreements, including vendor agreements, engagement letters, and professional service agreements, and work with business partners to identify and operationalize process improvements</li> <li><b>Advise key business partners</b> on a wide variety of corporate and commercial issues, including strategic initiatives involving business expansion and partnerships, while distilling complex legal issues in a manner that facilitates effective decision-making</li> <li><b>Support and maintain</b> periodic regulatory filings, and the corporate insurance portfolio</li> </ul> <p><b>What you'll bring</b></p> <ul> <li><b>Education: </b>Juris Doctor, admitted to practice law in the United States</li> <li><b>Experience</b>: 3+ years of transactional legal experience, either in BigLaw, in-house, or a combination of the two</li> <li><b>Knowledge</b>: Ability to issue spot and effectively negotiate common commercial contract issues (and help our Sales team do the same)</li> <li><b>Risk Management:</b> Comfortable presenting creative solutions for difficult problems to achieve desired business outcomes while effectively counseling business partners on the risks associated with various options</li> <li><b>Process-oriented</b>: You have a desire to build, operationalize, and maintain efficient systems so the business can continue to scale appropriately</li> <li><b>Self-Motivated: </b>You are a team-oriented critical thinker with a strong work ethic, and a sense of urgency, curiosity, honesty and fairness</li> </ul> <p></p> <div> <p><b>About Ontra</b><br> Ontra is the global leader in Contract Automation and Intelligence for private asset management firms.
