The Knowledge Management Lawyer (“KM Lawyer”) will develop, implement and maintain the knowledge management strategy for the Firm’s transactional practice groups (the “Groups”). The KM Lawyer will work closely with the lawyers and Practice Management professionals in the Groups to leverage our collective knowledge. The KM Lawyer will develop and manage the Groups’ collection of forms, precedents and research materials; collaborate on practice technology and innovation projects; organize, design and deliver training; monitor developments in the legal and business environment; work with the Business Development, Information Technology and Enterprise Technology Transformation departments; and perform other duties as required by the Groups. Work with the Groups to assess the relevant knowledge needs, define and implement a plan to meet those needs, and establish mechanisms for regular review of the plan. The knowledge strategy will identify areas ripe for workflow innovation and create practices that increase efficiency and empower our attorneys to deliver higher value work J.D and a minimum of 3+ year sound legal experience in the corporate law context at a law firm or relevant in-house legal department 1+ year of experience providing knowledge management or legal technology support Prior experience with private credit, private equity, finance, or tax a plus This position will require physical presence in Proskauer’s offices on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm or as business needs require). The anticipated compensation for this position is $150,000-$220,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
