Job Description: Sidley Austin LLP is seeking associates for its Global Finance Group to work on leveraged finance transactions, including acquisition financings, refinancings, dividend recaps, liability management transactions and restructuring-related financings. The candidates should have at least three years of experience with syndicated lending and/or private credit/direct lending representing either borrowers or lead arrangers. Strong experience with sponsor finance/LBO finance preferred. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating transaction documents and generally leading financing transactions primarily on behalf of borrower and lead arranger clients. Openings are available in the following firm offices: Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles/Century City, and New York. Candidates must be admitted or eligible for admission to the bar in the state for the office to which they are applying. Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate.
