BakerHostetler is seeking a senior-level tax credit finance associate or counsel (7+ years of law firm experience) to join its nationally recognized Tax Credit Finance team. Qualifications Include: • 7+ years of relevant law firm experience focused on historic tax credits and new markets tax credit. Experience with renewable energy tax credits is beneficial but not required • Ability to handle all facets of a tax credit transaction from leading or assisting on initial structuring to reviewing financial projections and negotiating business and legal issues • Work includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various tax equity and loan documents and opinions and conducting necessary due diligence, as well as overall project management • A strong academic record, having earned a J.D. from a nationally recognized and accredited law school Location: This position may be located in Denver, CO. Salary: The expected annual salary for this position ranges from $260K - $280K. The salary offered will be determined by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, experience level, education/training, and relevant skills.
