THE OPPORTUNITY: We have an exciting opportunity for a Labor & Employment Associate with 6 to 8 years of experience for our Chicago office. You’ll be a member of our consistently ranked and nationally recognized Labor & Employment practice group. Learn more about our Labor & Employment department here: Employment Litigation | Seyfarth Shaw LLP THE DAY-TO-DAY: As an associate in the Labor & Employment Department, you’ll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys. YOU HAVE: 6 to 8 years of labor and employment litigation and counseling experience, including single- plaintiff matters, wage-hour and class/collective action matters, administrative charges, policy review and investigations. The ability and drive to take responsibility for routine and increasingly complex matters with minimal supervision. Intellectual curiosity, a willingness to think outside the box, and a knack for finding practical solutions to complex problems. Excellent academic credentials, analytical skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills required. Must be licensed and admitted to practice in the State of Illinois or have the ability to waive into the State of Illinois. WHAT WE PROVIDE: We provide competitive salary and benefits at all levels.
