Description
The Washington, D.C. office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP, is seeking a counsel level labor and employment attorney with a minimum of 7 years of traditional labor and employment litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have significant management-side experience in traditional labor matters arising under the National Labor Relations Act, including NLRB hearings, collective bargaining, and labor arbitration proceedings as well as other labor union matters. The ideal candidate also will have experience with discrimination and wrongful discharge employment litigation, EEOC matters, and wage-hour matters and should be able to handle routine employment litigation with minimal supervision. Experience in OFCCP and affirmative action matters, and/or OSHA is a plus. Top law firm experience preferred. Excellent academic credentials, analytical skills and verbal and written communication skills required.
