The Executive Compensation and Benefits group is seeking junior to mid-level associates (class of 2015-2021) with experience practicing Executive Compensation & Benefits in a major law firm. For junior associate positions, experience in a related practice area (for example, M&A, tax or employment) and alternative work experience would also be considered. High level of academic achievement a must. The Executive Compensation and Benefits practice at Skadden advises public and private companies, management, boards of directors and executives on a full range of matters relating to employee compensation plans and arrangements, including issues arising in the areas of the transactional, tax, securities, bankruptcy, corporate governance and ERISA claims. Heightened scrutiny of executive compensation issues has resulted in an increasingly complex maze of government regulation and market pressures. The executive compensation and benefits practice helps clients manage the impact of these regulatory and market developments. Associates who join Skadden laterally participate in an enhanced mentor program, which specifically focuses on the unique needs experienced attorneys face during professional transitions.
