<br> As a Klarna Legal Problem Solver, you will be part of a global and cross-functional team comprised of colleagues from other competences. You will solve complex legal problems involving multiple jurisdictions and your challenge is to merge stakeholders’ expectations and legal requirements into simple and innovative legal products, processes, or contracts. As Klarna’s global lead litigation counsel, you are expected to work as much proactively to mitigate litigation risks as reactively in managing existing disputes. While your main focus will be the US, you are comfortable and have experience with managing matters relating to different practice areas and jurisdictions across the world. You always ask yourself, “What’s best for the company? <li> Independently managing Klarna’s ongoing litigation</li>
<li> Responding to requests from law enforcement agencies</li>
<li> Managing contacts with outside counsel to address and resolve material litigation</li>
<li> Creating new and reviewing and improving existing routines and processes for litigation</li>
<li> Monitoring and advising on relevant litigation developments and trends</li>
<li> Providing guidance and advice to senior stakeholders on all aspects of the litigation process</li>
<li> Collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders across the organization to improve Klarna’s overall processes and routines to avoid future legal disputes</li>

<li> Professional experience as a litigator (9+ years) from a top-tier law firm and in-house at a global company</li>
<li> JD with bar admission and good standing in New York</li>
<li> Solid interest in the disruptive payment industry and a willingness to learn</li>
<li> Proven ability to solve problems in a global environment</li>
<li> Excellent working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English</li>
