<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b> Additional Responsibilities:</b></h3>
<ul>
<li> Experience in general contract drafting and negotiated supply chain and vendor contracting preferred, preferably in a law firm or in-house legal department.</li>
<li> This position requires superior academic credentials, strong legal research, writing, analytical and oral communication skills, an ability to identify and resolve complicated issues creatively and with professional discretion, and an ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a close team setting in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li> Responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts for a variety of transactions that may include but would not be limited to general contracts, vendor agreements, material transfer agreements, physician contracts, information technology, licensing agreements, consulting and staffing agreements.</li>
<li> Maintains expertise and advises appropriate department members regarding legal developments within areas of expertise.</li>
<li> Develop and maintain effective working relationships across all levels, internally and externally.</li>
<li> Collaborates and provides support on projects and teams within the legal department and with corporate and market-based executives, physician leaders, other support services and staff to achieve the business objectives.</li>
<li> Provide legal insight, counsel and recommendations on industry/market dynamics, both internally and externally.</li>
<li> Provide timely responses to request for legal advice for assigned area.</li>
<li> Identifies and implements measures to bring effective legal services to the organization.</li>
</ul>

<p><b> Education: </b></p>
<ul>
<li>Juris Doctor (JD) from ABA accredited law school.</li>
</ul>

<p><b> Certifications:</b></p>
<ul>
<li> Member in good standing of the Ohio bar or ability to become a member of the Ohio bar within a reasonable period of time.</li>
</ul>
<p></p>
<p><b> Complexity of Work:</b></p>
<ul>
<li> Exercises independent judgment and discretion to perform legal services.</li>
<li> Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.</li>
<li> Must be able to take appropriate action in a stressful environment.</li>

<p><b> Work Experience: </b></p>
<ul>
<li>Zero to five years comparable attorney experience.</li>
</ul>

<p><b> Physical Requirements: </b></p>
<ul>
<li>Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.</li>
<li> Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.</li>
<li> Ability to operate a computer, audio visual and other office equipment. </li>
<li>Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information, including the ability to deliver training in person and virtually.</li>
