This is an excellent opportunity to join a top-tier aircraft lessor.</p> <p></p> <p> Primary responsibilities will be to manage cross-border aircraft leasing transactions and administration of aircraft acquisitions and sales, aircraft operating leases, and associated finance transactions.</p> <b>Responsibilities </b> <p><b>Primary Responsibilities:</b> </p> <ul> <li>Draft and negotiate cross-border aircraft and engine leases, acquisition, sale and related transaction documentation</li> <li>Identify and resolve legal risks and issues in the context of the company's objectives, including default management, lease restructurings, repossessions, and associated litigation and bankruptcy matters</li> <li>Provide legal support to a global marketing and transaction team</li> <li>Assist with the development and maintenance of departmental policies</li> <li>Provide general support on all departmental matters and special projects as required.</li> </ul> <br> <b>Qualifications </b> <p><b>Requirements:</b></p> <p><b> Education &amp; Certificates</b></p> <ul> <li>Law degree, with a minimum of 5 years experience</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><b>Professional Experience</b></p> <ul> <li> Extensive aviation leasing and finance experience with a law firm or from an in-house aircraft leasing company</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Experience dealing with senior management and managing staff</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><b>Competencies &amp; Attributes</b></p> <ul> <li>Exceptional negotiation, interpersonal, and legal skills combined with extensive commercial acumen</li> </ul> <p></p> <p>Due to the high volume of candidates, please be advised that only candidates selected to interview will be contacted by The Carlyle Group.</p> <br> <b>Company Information </b> <p>The Carlyle Group (NASDAQ: CG) is a global investment firm with $426 billion of assets under management and more than half of the AUM managed by women, across 586 investment vehicles as of December 31, 2023.
