Skadden is seeking a Pro Bono Attorney with at least 3-5 years of legal practice experience, including public interest or pro bono experience, and working with a law firm pro bono program. The attorney will have the responsibilities related to the administration of Skadden’s Pro Bono Program, external relationship management and practice development, and as necessary and appropriate, supervision of legal work performed on pro bono matters. The position is full-time and will reside in the firm’s New York office. The following are required: a J.D. degree with a high level of academic achievement, active New York Bar membership, 3-5 years legal practice experience, public interest or pro bono experience, experience working with a law firm pro bono program, familiarity and relationships with New York legal service organizations, strong administrative, organizational and project management skills, ability to balance competing demands and take initiative, and a strong desire and ability to be a team player and work in a collaborative context.
