Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP seeks a highly qualified Counsel Attorney to join the Mass Torts Practice Group. This position is open to office location. This position will involve working in an active and dynamic practice that touches all aspects of litigation including discovery, depositions, and motions practice. The candidate will have autonomy to handle assigned cases while at the same time having access to the knowledge and experience of seasoned litigators. The litigators in the Mass Torts Practice Group collaborate to analyze and strategize how to handle each case. It is essential that the candidate have the skill, knowledge, and ability to investigate, conduct research, and apply laws, court decisions, and rules of evidence and procedure in order to defend clients and reach a successful resolution of each matter. The candidate will be expected to work collaboratively and cooperatively with, including oversight and direction of, junior lawyers, paralegals, legal practice assistants, and staff. Qualifications At least 1 to 5 years of mass tort or product liability litigation-related experience. Must have excellent law school and undergraduate academic credentials. Strong written and oral advocacy skills and excellent interpersonal skills. Candidates must be licensed in the jurisdiction in which they will practice. Ability to travel for depositions, court appearances, and other proceedings as necessary. The national average salary range for this role is $105,000-$215,000. Starting salary will be determined based on location, qualifications, and experience.
