Job Summary: The Finance Group of the Corporate Department is seeking Junior to Mid-level Associates to join its growing and vibrant debt finance transactional practice in Tokyo Duties/Responsibilities: Associate will be expected to advise private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies as well as other corporate borrowers on a wide-range of financing structures, including senior and subordinated credit facilities, asset-based facilities, high-yield bonds and mezzanine financings, with a focus on Korea and other Asia-Pacific cross-border leveraged finance transactions. Required Skills/Abilities: Candidates should be admitted in the U.S. or E&W and fluent and able to conduct business in both Japanese and English. Ideal candidates will have 1-5 years of experience in cross-border leveraged financing transactions advising private equity funds, although other financing experience will be taken into account.
