THE OPPORTUNITY: We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Litigation Associate with 2 to 5 years of experience for our Houston office. Learn more about our Litigation department here: https://www.seyfarth.com/services/practices/litigation/commercial-litigation.html THE DAY-TO-DAY: As an associate in the Litigation Department, you’ll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking cases in collaboration with senior attorneys. YOU HAVE: 2-5 years of complex commercial litigation experience in a law firm; trial experience is a plus; Stellar writing ability and excellent academic credentials; as writing ability is critical for this position, we ask that you submit two writing samples with your application; Writing samples should be reflective of your own work product and not substantially collaborative efforts. A Federal Clerkship or Texas Supreme Court clerkship are also a plus; Strong analytical and verbal communication skills; and Admitted to the Texas bar or meet the requirements to waive in.
