This salary is Nixon Peabody’s good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Job Requirements: We are seeking a 2nd year law student to join the 2024 Summer Associate Program in Rochester, NY. This is a paid full-time summer internship working with a variety of our transactional practice groups. Our summer associates provide legal research, writing, and other substantive support for our attorneys on projects that are both challenging and exciting. Summer Associates will be paired with an associate mentor and receive real-time feedback. We also offer various training programs – both firm and industry specific - throughout the duration of the program. Qualified candidates will have strong academic credentials (3.0 GPA or higher), superb judgment and communication skills, excellent legal writing skills, and a commitment to providing excellent client services. Interest in transactional areas of practice is a plus. Law students graduating with a J.D. in 2025 will be considered for this position. Principals Only.
