THE OPPORTUNITY: We have an exciting opportunity for an midlevel Associate in our Construction, Energy and Infrastructure practice with at least four years of experience to join our Firm. Few law firms in the country can match our preeminent national Construction, Energy and Infrastructure practices, which include representation on some of the largest and highest-profile projects in the United States and internationally. In addition to traditional commercial and industrial development, our practice includes an extensive array of infrastructure development (involving the transportation, energy, education and water sectors, among others). This includes alternative project delivery (including public-private partnerships), and it often involves innovation in project financing, design and construction, and long-term operations and maintenance. THE DAY-TO-DAY: As a Construction, Energy and Infrastructure Associate, you’ll have the opportunity to work on interesting, challenging, and groundbreaking matters in collaboration with senior attorneys. YOU HAVE: Transactional background, including 3 to 6 years experience drafting complex construction and project documents Experience in drafting and negotiating engineering, procurement and construction, design-build, design-bid-build, design-build-operate and/or maintain, construction management, procurement and supply, design and development agreements preferred. An interest in infrastructure and innovative project development preferred Excellent writing and communication skills Experience in public procurement, alternative project delivery, and related matters preferred Experience in project financing a plus WHAT WE PROVIDE: We provide competitive salary and benefits at all levels.
