Hahn Loeser seeks a real estate associate with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team in our Cleveland, Columbus, or Chicago offices. Our clients include developers, owners, builders, contractors, national and regional corporations, and manufacturers who rely on Hahn Loeser’s expertise in negotiating their acquisition, entitlements, due diligence, financing, construction contracts, title, environmental, wetland, and entity/funding/investor issues. As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for individual(s) who have experience drafting and negotiating real estate purchase agreements, leases, and performing due diligence in real estate transactions. Experience in dispute resolution is also helpful, but not required. The partners and senior associates in the group also focus heavily on associate training and maintaining a collegial work environment. Ideal candidates will have some experience with residential or commercial real estate including residential, commercial, apartments/multi-family, leasing, brokerage and advisory services, real estate finance, negotiating purchase agreements, and managing related due diligence. Experience with construction agreements is a plus. This position is transactional-focused however we are open to candidates with litigation experience.
