The Tokyo Capital Markets Structured Finance and Derivatives (SFD) group is currently searching for a new team member to join their dynamic, innovative team.  Working within the exciting and diverse region of Asia this role provides an excellent opportunity for team members to specialise in the Asian SFD practice, allowing associates the opportunity to develop and escalate their legal experience and expertise in all aspects of SFD, covering both the Japan market as well as Asia more broadly.  Key Responsibilities: As a successful candidate you will become a key member of the market leading SFD team in Asia and in Tokyo, participating in award winning deals and ground breaking work in the region. You will advise on a full range of structured finance and derivative transactions on an Asia-wide basis, with a focus on repackagings, structured credit, structured equity and bespoke financing transactions, as well as the changing international landscape for derivatives regulation. The team are known for their structured products expertise and evenly cover the Pan Asia markets as well as Japan.  Key Requirements: You will possess exceptional legal and technical skills, currently practising in a finance group with transactional experience. We are looking for candidates who are self-starters, who demonstrate an imaginative and commercial approach, combining legal expertise with dedication to delivering an excellent client experience.
