Cohen Seglias has an opening in its Philadelphia office for an associate with a minimum of two to four years of litigation experience. Candidates must have a construction or commercial law background, strong academic credentials (preferably law review), and strong legal research and writing skills. Candidates must be licensed in Pennsylvania, with a demonstrated proficiency in state and federal civil procedure. The attorney will be required to analyze law, apply facts, and perform legal research and writing pertaining to public and private construction projects. Typical duties will include the drafting of pleadings, participation in discovery and motion practice (in state and federal courts), as well as bid protests and claim preparation.
