Job Description: Morgan Lewis, one of the world’s leading international law firms, seeks to hire a highly qualified attorney to join our intellectual property practice group in the Washington, DC office. Job Requirements: The successful applicant must: Have at least one year of patent prosecution experience with a mechanical engineering background working in a law firm environment. A bachelor’s degree (or graduate degree) preferably in electrical engineering, but a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related area will be considered. Experience with display technologies (e.g., LCD, OLED, etc.) or rechargeable battery technologies (e.g., for electric vehicles) would be a plus. Possess strong research, writing, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. District of Columbia bar membership, or the ability to become a member of the District of Columbia bar, is required.
