<p>The Intellectual Property Counsel is in charge of supporting the business by giving tailored IP advises. The purpose is to manage the IP affairs for the entire IP portfolio pertaining to a material technical or business area. As a IP Counsel at Sidel you will secure proper protection of our latest innovation and advise on IP matter in US.</p>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Your Mission</b></h3>
<p></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage patent portfolio for one or more technical or business areas, including drafting, and prosecution</li>
<li> Perform IP risk management (freedom-to-practice) for one or more technical areas, with the help of central function and line of business</li>
<li> Manage low-complexity disputes and IP transactions</li>
<li> Support litigation and nullity complaints (plaintiff / defendant)</li>
</ul>

<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Your Profile</b></h3>
<p></p>
<ul>
<li>Master degree in Engineering would be a plus</li>
<li> Qualified European/US patent attorney with at least 2-3 years of experience</li>
<li> Fluent English (additional fluency in French or Italian is a plus)</li>
<li> Experience in patent law firm preferred</li>
<li> Knowledge in drafting of patent application and in global prosecution</li>
<li> Solid knowledge of and experience in Freedom-to-Practice analysis on a global basis IP asset management</li>
<li> Litigation in key jurisdictions</li>
<li> Perseverance</li>
