Position Summary Our Tampa, FL office has an opportunity for an experienced mid-level associate to join the firm’s dynamic and long-established practice representing premier local and national employers. This is an excellent opportunity for associates who are proactive and passionate about assuming a high level role providing legal service within a sophisticated practice and who are seeking to assume a significant role in all aspects of labor and employment law. This role requires extensive contact with clients, governmental agencies and opposing counsel. Duties include all aspects of corporate labor and employment legal representation, but are not limited to, developing creative ideas and pragmatic solutions for client problems, litigation and trial work, and resolving governmental and workplace investigations. Our office is collegial with a commitment to mutual respect in the workplace. We hold regular all-attorney in-person conferences throughout the country. We make attorney development a priority and provide ongoing writing, publishing, and speaking opportunities as well as access to expansive professional development training programs and opportunities to work with the leading attorneys in this field. Requirements Juris Doctor. Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in Florida. During employment, must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice. Candidates must possess labor and employment experience. We expect this attorney to provide excellent written and analytical work and to contribute to a respectful, collegial office environment.
