We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate with three to five years of experience on our team in New York or Los Angeles. Our International Department has changed the way that many of the world’s largest companies manage their global business issues by providing an experienced central point of contact for all international matters. We operate a team-based approach with continuity among the lawyers working on clients’ matters to ensure that institutional knowledge about our clients and their industries is captured and properly leveraged over time. Unlike other firms, our international practice is not composed of domestic lawyers who try to do international work as a sideline to their domestic practice. Our team is very experienced in developing custom solutions to address the types of legal issues faced by companies doing business internationally. Having worked across more than 170 countries, our team is known for its innovative solutions and high-quality commercial results for our clients. Three to five years of employment law advice and counseling experience with either a general practice firm or boutique labor and employment firm; transactional experience in the employment space is a strong plus (but not essential) A demonstrated interest in developing expertise in international employment law Prior experience with international employment advice and counseling Prior experience with M&A transactions Fluency in languages in addition to English At this time, Seyfarth Shaw LLP will not be accepting applications submitted through search firms for this position.
