Job Description Jackson Lewis is currently seeking an Employment Law Associate for the Denver, CO office. In this role, the Associate will work directly with the Affirmative Action, OFCCP and Government Contract Compliance Practice Group to assist clients with regulatory compliance, defending administrative enforcement investigations, oversee pay equity analyses, and advise and train employers in a wide range of employment law issues. The Associate will work with a dynamic group of affirmative action attorneys and staff including data analysts and statisticians. Duties and Responsibilities: Advise on equal employment opportunity laws and practices to assess and advance workplace equity Defend employers in Office of Federal Contract Compliance (OFCCP) compliance reviews, including against claims of systemic discrimination in employer hiring, promotion, termination, and pay processes Oversee privileged pay equity analyses to identify and help close gender and race-based pay differences Assist government contractor clients with the design, development and implementation of affirmative action plans Advise and train employers on a wide range of employment laws and regulations, including anti-discrimination, pay equity, pre-employment testing, applicant tracking systems and hiring processes, reductions-in-force, and other federal contractor obligations Provide proactive advice and counsel to employers on a wide range of employment laws Skills and Educational Requirements: JD from accredited law school At least 1 or more years of experience preferred, employment law experience a plus Prior experience with affirmative action programs or OFCCP compliance reviews a plus Colorado Bar Admission preferred Excellent attention to detail, including working with large data reports Strong organizational and project management skills, including managing numerous projects at once Ability to work in a collaborative team and effectively oversee other professionals Excellent written and oral communication skills For Colorado, the expected salary range for this position is between $141,000 and $167,000. This position is also eligible for annual bonuses. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
