Job Description: Orrick currently has an opportunity for an attorney to join our market-leading Energy & Infrastructure practice open to any of our US office locations. We are looking for an attorney with four to eight years of experience in the areas of energy projects work relating to renewables and energy storage, and specifically focused on energy offtake work including one or more of: renewable energy power purchase agreements (both physical and virtual and both on the buy- and sell-side), corporate PPAs, energy storage offtake agreements, tolling agreements, renewable energy credit agreements, hedging agreements, resource adequacy sales agreements, ISDAs and EEI agreements. Candidates must be highly motivated and possess excellent academic credentials along with superior communication skills. Membership to the State Bar of the office of the state in which the candidate expects to be located is required. Compensation and Benefits The expected salary range for this position is between $310,000 and $420,000. Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick’s estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
