2024 Entry-Level Litigation Associate

Faegre Drinker is actively recruiting entry level associate candidates who are interested in practicing litigation in one of the following practice groups: Business Litigation and Product Liability & Mass Torts. Demonstration of excellent writing skills, attention to detail, very strong academic credentials and analytical ability are required. Geographic location for positions may vary and is ultimately dependent upon the practice group for which a candidate is hired. The offices in which there is the highest likelihood of placement are: Chicago, Dallas, Des Moines, Denver, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis. Current 3L/4LE students are encouraged to submit application materials for this entry-level associate position by submitting a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, and writing sample. Cover letters should specify geographic location and practice group interests, in order of preference. Candidates can expect a start date in September 2024. We evaluate candidates on a rolling basis; we will contact you directly if we can extend an interview. The anticipated initial annual salary range for someone who is hired into this position is $150,000 - $215,000. Actual initial salary may be above or below the above-identified range and will be based on the relevant skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors, including the location of where the position is filled and consistent with applicable law. The initial salary range listed above is just one component of Faegre Drinker’s total compensation and benefits package for attorneys, which includes, but is not limited to, productivity and discretionary bonuses; life, health, accident and disability insurance; and a 401(k) plan.
