Amundsen Davis seeks a Litigation Associate to join its Chicago office. You must be licensed in Illinois and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation, and preference will be given to candidates with recent legal experience working in a government office. Strong communication skills, solid analytical and writing skills, and the ability to work well on a team are also required. You will represent clients in all aspects of litigation, including but not limited to, all aspects of oral and written discovery, and active motion and trial practice in both state and federal court. Experience in drafting pleadings, drafting and responding to written discovery, conducting depositions, client communications, and preparing case evaluations on liability, damages, and recommended course of action, is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented. Please submit a resume, cover letter, law school transcript and two writing samples. No recruiters, please.
