This position is not eligible for overtime compensation. <div></div> <div> Job Type </div> Classified <div></div> <div> Department </div> County Attorney <div></div> <div> About the Position </div> <div> The Appeals Prosecutor I-III manages a caseload of appellate and postconviction cases that involve a variety of legal issues involving constitutional criminal procedure, substantive criminal law, sentencing law, and ineffective assistance of counsel. Appellate cases involve oral arguments at all levels of Arizona courts, and postconviction cases involve contested evidentiary hearings. An Appeals Prosecutor will also work closely with the trial bureaus to assist on complex legal issues, which includes drafting pleadings and appearing in superior court. </div> <div></div> <div> About the Office of the County Attorney </div> <div> We believe in integrity.
