Visit our </i><i>PinFlex</i><i> landing page to learn more. </i></p> </div> <p>We’re looking for a seasoned and practical privacy lawyer to join our legal team and lead our privacy and data protection strategies worldwide. We are a small and nimble legal team supporting a growing company, so you will cover a lot of ground. </p> <p><b>What you’ll do:</b></p> <ul> <li>Lead all aspects of our worldwide privacy and data protection strategies to put Pinners first and move our business forward</li> <li>Define and communicate Pinterest’s Privacy vision, internally to the leads of Pinterest’s products and business, and externally to Privacy regulators and other Privacy stakeholders</li> <li>Internally you’ll advise senior business leaders by:</li> <li>Providing product, advertising, engineering and other business teams with practical legal advice on privacy and data protection rules in the U.S., Europe and beyond</li> <li>Giving practical and strategic advice to business teams on privacy-related provisions of advertising deals and business partnerships</li> <li>Overseeing privacy and security incident responses and internal investigations</li> <li>Lead a team managing compliance with all applicable privacy and data protection laws and regulations</li> <li>Oversee the maturation of privacy by design processes to support a scaling privacy and data protection program</li> <li>Collaborate with public policy and regulatory teams to monitor privacy and data-protection related developments</li> </ul> <p><b>What we’re looking for:</b></p> <ul> <li>JD with at least 10+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams handling privacy and data protection issues in a demanding and innovative legal environment</li> <li>World-class expertise in privacy and data protection laws and regulations in the U.S., Europe and beyond, including GDPR and CPRA</li> <li>Extensive experience engaging directly with Privacy regulators, and with internal business leadership in other functions</li> <li>A history of building core privacy by design processes</li> <li>Proven ability to identify, prioritize and resolve issues quickly and independently</li> <li>Exceptional project management and communication skills</li> <li>Flexibility to support team members in other time zones and travel as required </li> </ul> <p>#LI-REMOTE #LI-NG1</p> <p></p> <div> <p> At Pinterest we believe the workplace should be equitable, inclusive, and inspiring for every employee.
