Seyfarth Shaw LLP, an international law firm with more than 900 attorneys, has an exciting opportunity in our Atlanta office for a Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of experience in commercial litigation. The successful candidate will have experience with construction-related transactional matters and a broad range of business litigation, including construction and real estate litigation. The ideal candidate will have significant experience (i) drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction contracts; (ii) representing owners and contractors in construction-related disputes involving delays, non-payment, mechanicâs liens, defective work, and other breach of contract and tort claims; and (iii) litigating commercial disputes involving breach of contract claims and business-related torts, such as tortious interference with business and contractual relations and breach of fiduciary duty. Meaningful litigation experience in the following areas is required: responding to and issuing discovery, drafting motions and supporting memoranda, eDiscovery, managing productions, and creating privilege logs. We are looking for someone who is ready to commit to being a strong commercial litigator, and who has keen problem-solving and people skills. We require excellent academic credentials (prefer law review and/or judicial clerkship), and excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
