Description

Public Policy Advisor

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in public policy/lobbying/government relations
  • Capable of developing strategy for clients on legislative areas of interest, both defensively and proactively
  • Proactively monitor, analyze, and track legislation and regulations on a variety of legislative issues with a particular focus on trade industries
  • Research, draft analyses, and make recommendations regarding relevant items to elevate to internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare talking points and meet with members of Congress and their staff
  • Develop and maintain relationships with identified members of Congress and their staff
  • Seeking academically distinguished applicants who have excellent writing and analytical skills, high attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines

  • The base salary for this position is expected to be between $250,000 to $285,000 annually. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
