We have an immediate opening in our Denver office for a Commercial Litigation Associate with two to four years of experience. Candidates should have an active Colorado bar license or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with all phases of complex commercial litigation including, but not limited to, experience conducting factual investigations and discovery, preparing pleadings, depositions, motions practice, settlement negotiations, and communicating with clients. Experience in both state and federal court is preferred, and experience in administrative matters and arbitrations is beneficial. Second-chair experience at trial or arbitration is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position is $215,000 to $240,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
