The firm’s Employment practice group defends employers in state and federal courts against all types of labor and employment litigation including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, whistle-blower, wage and hour, employment contract disputes, and PAGA claims. We represent public entities and private employers across a wide range of industries including retail, health care, grocery, banking and professional services. Our employment litigators have an opportunity available for a mid- to senior-level associate (3-5 years) for its employment litigation practice in Sacramento. Experience defending and advising corporate employers against wage and hour, wrongful termination, and employment discrimination claims in California state and federal courts is desired. Candidates must also have significant law firm litigation experience drafting motions, arguing law and motion matters, and taking and defending depositions. Distinguished academic record and exceptional research, writing and verbal communication skills are essential.
