Prepare and prosecute biotechnology-related patent applications. Perform various tasks related to patent prosecution including: all aspects of preparing and prosecuting patent applications; conducting examiner interviews; and arranging for patentability, state-of-the-art, infringement, and validity searches, or prepare patentability options. Advanced degree (Ph.D.) is optional but preferred. Preferred areas of study/work experience include, but are not limited to, genetics, immunology, cell biology, proteomics, virology, bacteriology, and molecular biology. Law degree from an ABA accredited law school. Admission to at least one State bar. Strong academic credentials. Registered to practice before the USPTO. Minimum 1 year of patent prosecution experience required.
