Junior-Level Employment Litigation Associate

The Columbia office of Fisher Phillips seeks an employment litigation associate with 2-3 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have wage and hour litigation experience, traditional labor, or general employment litigation experience. Qualified candidates will be comfortable drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting motions, as well as taking, or helping prepare more senior attorneys take, depositions. Experience defending depositions is a plus, but not required. Candidate must have excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of team. Although we would prefer that you have some experience in employment law, we are also interested in working with developing talented attorneys who come to us with excellent skills in any litigation arena.
