VIZIO's Legal team is seeking an experienced and motivated attorney with experience in app and content licensing transactions to join our growing Platform+ Legal team. As Senior Counsel, you will report to VIZIO's Director, Advertising, Data, & Technology Counsel and working closely with other attorneys supporting VIZIO's Platform+ business. You will embark on a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and dynamic team within a fast-paced environment.

<div></div> What You Will Do:
<ul>
<li>Review, draft and negotiate a variety of agreements, with a particular focus on app and content licensing, and will advise on a variety of deals with content providers, media/entertainment companies, and streaming services.</li>
<li> You will evaluate and advise on issues from legal and business perspectives with a practical, business-oriented approach to problem-solving and handle complex business and legal issues in a fast-paced, agile, and evolving technology-driven business environment.</li>
<li> Support strategic initiatives, including cutting-edge technology and regulatory support.</li>
</ul> About You:
<ul>
<li>You have a passion for digital media and technology.</li>
<li> 8-10+ years of transactional experience as an attorney either in-house, at a law firm, or a combination of both.</li>
<li> Possess a Juris Doctorate from a U.S. accredited law school.</li>
<li> Licensed to practice law in the State of California or qualify to register as California in-house counsel.</li>
<li> Direct experience in or exposure to AVOD/SVOD/TVOD licensing deals.</li>
<li> Able to handle multiple matters simultaneously and prioritize effectively.</li>
<li> Solid background and experience with negotiating, drafting, and advising on a variety of agreements.</li>
<li> Self-motivated, extremely well organized with exceptional attention to detail, genuine curiosity, and a can-do positive attitude to contribute to the success of the team.</li>
<li> Ability to work well in a very fast-paced and dynamic environment, as well as in a small team environment, and become a productive and positive member of the legal department.</li>

<b><br> For California-based employment:</b> The minimum salary for this position is $164,000/year. The maximum salary for this position $212,000/year. In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, as well as equity and a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.
