Litigation Attorney – (2–8 Years Relevant Experience)

Our firm is seeking a talented Litigation Attorney with 2 to 8 years of relevant experience to join our growing teams in Hartford and New Haven. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills, a passion for advocacy, and the ability to manage cases independently, from pre-suit investigation through trial.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of litigation including pleadings, discovery, motions, court appearances, and trials
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and correspondence
• Take and defend depositions
• Work closely with partners and clients to develop case strategies
• Manage client communications and expectations
• Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations
• Maintain current knowledge of litigation trends and legal developments

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active and in good standing with the Connecticut Bar
• 2–8 years of litigation experience (civil, commercial, municipal or general litigation preferred)
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Trial experience is a plus, but not required
