THE OPPORTUNITY: Seyfarth Shaw LLP, an international law firm with more than 900 attorneys, has an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified Labor and Employment Associate with 1-4 years of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), Environmental, and Whistleblower experience for a position in its Chicago office. Candidates should have increasingly responsible experience in OSHA compliance, enforcement and related litigation. Litigation experience, including depositions, discovery and motion practice is highly preferred. In addition, experience in environmental compliance, enforcement and environmental litigation is not required, but will be favorably considered. Excellent academic credentials, analytical skills and verbal and written communication skills required. Seyfarth has one of the preeminent OSHA practices in the country which is national in scope and covers the full range of OSHA compliance and enforcement issues. The attorneys in the group have extensive trial and appellate experience litigating against both Federal and State OSHA.
