Farella Braun + Martel’s leading intellectual property litigation practice is seeking a talented and motivated Patent Litigation Associate to join our distinguished IP team. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience in patent litigation, with a strong understanding of patent law and litigation procedures, excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills. A degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field is strongly preferred but not required. Our team of expert IP lawyers is dedicated to helping clients secure, protect, and defend their intellectual property rights. Our attorneys engage in high-stakes patent litigation and work on cases involving diverse industries spanning computer hardware and software to platform companies. Our clients range from Fortune 100 corporations to emerging start-ups, all of whom trust us to handle their most significant IP disputes with agility and precision. The annual base compensation range for this California position is between $210,000 and $295,000. Placement within the salary range depends upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, years of relevant experience and professional skills required for this role. Additional compensation may include discretionary hours-based and additional bonuses, health/welfare benefits, vacation and leave time (including parental and sabbatical), and paid holidays.
